Enrolments for 2027 will open mid-year. We encourage families to complete the online enrolment form once applications become available.
Please note that out-of-zone enrolments for 2026 are now closed. In-zone applications, however, can be submitted at any time.
Key Dates for 2027 Enrolment
Monday 27 July 2026 – Parents’ Information Evening (7.00pm)
An opportunity for prospective parents and caregivers to learn more about Waimea College and what we offer.
Monday 3 August 2026 – Open School
Choose from one of the following times:
- Open Day: 3.30pm – 5.30pm OR
- Open Evening: 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Both sessions will begin in the College Hall. Following a short introduction, visitors are invited to tour the school, explore subject areas, view displays, and speak with staff and students. We strongly encourage prospective students and their families to attend.
Friday 13 November 2026 – Year 8 Orientation Day
All Year 8 students enrolled for 2027 are required to attend this important day.

Bus Information
Many of our students bus to school. Students who intend to use the bus must complete a Bus Eligibility Form.

Lockers
We have a limited number of lockable lockers available to students for a yearly rental.
Students will need to provide their own sturdy padlock with a shank diameter that is between 5mm and 8mm (no bigger than 8mm).
These lockers are available in two sizes:
- Large 900 mm x 450 mm x 375 mm $55.00
- Small 450 mm x 450 mm x 375 mm $30.00
Large lockers are generally reserved for students with sports equipment.
The lockers do not have shelves, therefore are unsuitable for students to share.
Year 9 students usually only require a small locker.
Please return a locker form and payment directly to the Finance Centre before 20 January 2026.
This is a yearly rental, please ensure the locker is cleared out and the lock removed at the end of Term 4.
