Library Familiarisation

All new students receive a Library familiarisation session. Year 9 and 10 classes are introduced to the our Library software AccessIT so that they can make the most of the options available to them including re-issuing books, reserving books and resources, checking books on loan and overdues, writing book reviews and searching the catalogue.

Students who missed this session or want a reminder about some of the features in AccessIT can email library@waimea.school.nz with questions or to book in with a librarian.

Book recommendations
Our well qualified Librarians are exceptionally good at getting books into the hands of readers. We welcome book suggestions and can provide help with selecting appropriate books for reading responses.
