Enjoy the opportunity to learn and cook traditional Italian food, using a variety of ingredients and different techniques. In this course you will learn the Italian home tradition of an everyday meal using fresh seasonal products that you can easily find in Nelson.

Preserve de Taste of Summer

Saturday 10.00 am – 3.00 pm (1 day)

Preserving is not just jams and chutneys.  There is a good variety of techniques and recipes to preserve summer vegetables & fruit.  In this unique course you learn how to preserve zucchini, eggplants capsicums, chilli, gherkins, artichokes, and make your own sundried tomatoes plus tomato sauce.  You will learn how to bottle your  summer fruits and dry summer herbs.  Hands on learning with demonstrations also given.

Malaysian Cooking

Wednesday 6.00 – 8.00 pm (4 weeks)
Learn to cook a diversity of the Southeast Asian country of Malaysia. A primary melange of traditions from its Malay, Chinese, Indian, Indonesians and ethnic Bornean citizens. A symphony of flavours with wonderful fragrances.
