Waimea Goes Wireless
Students now have access to wireless at Waimea. Students are welcome to bring laptops and netbooks in class to aid their learning.
We recommend you consider these aspects before purchasing a device for your son or daughter: - Lighter weight the better, battery life should last eight hours or more, screen resolution of 1366 x 768 or better, screen size at least 10 inches, keyboard an advantage, a protective sleeve, cover or bag is worthwhile. Apple iPads have limitations within our school system we do not recommend these for students and staff.
