Japanese for Beginners – Easy Travel Japanese
Thursday 7.00 – 8.00 pm (8 weeks)
Dive into the essentials of Japanese using NHK WORLD-JAPAN’s “Easy Travel Japanese” cirriculum. This course focuses on core, practical set phrases for traveling in Japan, such as greetings, ordering food, asking for directions, and shopping. No prior Japanese experience is necessary. By the end, you’ll feel confident using basic, common expressions to enhance your trip. Simple and fun!

te reo Māori Beginners
Monday 6.30 – 8.30 pm (9 weeks)
Have fun learning the basics of Maori language and protocols (Te reo Maori me ona tikanga) including pronunciation, greetings, basic conversation, tikanga, placenames, local history. We welcome repeat Maori language students. Open for adults and college students with approval and most people are eligible for a 50% subsidy.

Learn basic NZSL conversation skills and begin to understand and develop NZSL grammar skills. Develop the use of facial expressions and improve visual and spatial awareness. Open for adults and college students with approval. Most people are eligible for a 50% subsidy.
