In the unlikely event of an emergency, Waimea College has a number of policies and procedures in place to protect the health and wellbeing of its students.

Other Important Information

  • All students and homestay families are given access to a 24-hour emergency contact number.  In most cases, an emergency phone call will come through to the International Manager who will be able to provide support.  If the International Manager is not available, the caller will receive a message directing them to an alternative number.  The number will go through to one of our senior leaders at the College who will also be able to help.
  • In the event that New Zealand communication lines become unusable, please check our Waimea College International Facebook page for updates and information.
