Introduction to Photoshop: Wednesday 6.30 – 8.30 pm (6 weeks)
Course suitable for those with basic computing skills. Gain the confidence to navigate around Adobe Photoshop with ease. We’ll look at photo enhancement tools and techniques, resolution and file management and images. A guide book will be supplied.

Digital Photography: Monday 6.30 – 8.30 pm (8 weeks)
Students will gain a stronger understanding and confidence in using their digital cameras. Techniques to increase their success and take control of the creative aspects of their photography will be taught in a fun and highly informative course. Beginners welcome.

Microsoft Excel Basics: Tuesday 7.00 – 8.30 pm (5 weeks)
Learn how to set up a spread sheet for use as data base and for numerical calculation (like a budget or loan repayment schedule). Entering data, formatting, building formulas or how to use existing formulas will be covered. Discover how to generate charts for presentation as well as linking Excel to your Word document report. Excel features like AutoFill, Auto SUM, Names and linking from one spread sheet to another will also be covered.

Radio Controlled Model Aircraft: Monday 7.00 – 8.30 pm (2 weeks) + Saturday/Sunday TBC NEW
Are you interested in learning to fly radio controlled electric model aircraft? This short introductory course covers the basics of model and equipment selection, setting up the aircraft, and what to know for your first flight. Learn how to make the correct equipment choice and maximise successful flying. Includes a practical weekend 90 min session at the Wakapuaka model flying site (weather permitting). Open to college students with an also enrolled parent/caregiver.
